Sensei Lawrence Patrick is a true pioneer of Mixed Martial Arts.  Having been trained in striking and grappling arts, he began blending disciplines before the term MMA was ever heard.  He opened Gold Dragon MMA in 1995, having a passion to teach techniques that are effective in any situation.  Sensei Lawrence Patrick was inducted into the Freestyle Fighting Hall of Fame for his contribution to the development of MMA.  Every instructor at our gym has been personally trained by Sensei and entrusted to teach and pass on the knowledge and skills to the next generation.  Gold Dragon has enjoyed great success with its family oriented atmosphere and dedication to each student, whether their goals are fitness, self-defense, recreation, or competition. ​
